72 HOUR CRAZE!!!!

Hi Everyone,

So, Marianne and I have gotten on a preparedness kick or taken rather literally the scout motto of "Be Prepared." A few weeks back we started getting our 72 hour kits together and we are about done. Whew!! It is something we have gotten rather excited about and have found to be very fulfilling. In our "backpack kits" we have: 3 days of food, clothing, first aid supplies, flashlights, a cool wind up radio/flashlight thing(totally sweet!), scriptures, some card games, toiletries, emergency blankets, batteries, various medicines, water(still working on how to carry more), matches, rope....and other cool items. We are still looking to expand with some sleeping bags and possibly a small tent. We really have found it to be fun and makes us feel much more secure in knowing we could up and leave for a few days if we had to. Marianne has put together a great list of things needed from both church sources as well as government recommendations if anyone wants one. Love you guys!
